1. SEVAGRAM, POTHY
Sevagram is an SOS village for children. There are 50 children living in five houses, each having a mother to look after their needs. Sevagram also runs a Hospice for the terminally ill persons who have no one to take care of. The Hospice is called Avedana Bhavan and receives ample assistance from Mercy Hospital run by SABS Sisters. At present 23 inmates are keep on here by obtaining its institutional services. 2. KRIPA (Kerala Rehabilitation Institute for the Physically Affected), at Chunangumveli, Aluva
KRIPA is a residential institution for the physically challenged boys, and functions as a rehab centre . There are 35 inmates at present. KRIPA’s SPECIAL SCHOOL was started in the year 2012 and has 39 students. It is equipped with activity room, sensory unit and different therapy units like speech, occupation and psycho.
